Between a Rock and a Hard Turd

Great... just great. We post our position on border security and illegal immigration right about the same time the Dumbass goes up to Canada for the North American Summit to talk about amping up NAFTA and the integration of our markets.

OK, yes, we could be better about our timing in getting things up on the website, but we sure do have a problem -- how do we keep pulling in the protect-the-borders voters while making good with our friends in corporate America and strengthening the transnational ties that let them ship jobs down to Mexico by keeping those borders open?

For now, we're going to try to keep silent on the NAFTA business while we figure out a way to speak out of both sides of my mouth on that issue. It's tougher than you think. I have to stretch my mouth muscles for hours.
